what makes ppl get adicted to tv

what do you ppl think is the primary reasion for ppl getting adicted to tv.??

today the visual media is booming......it is maily because it has understood the people`s taste........

I don't really see it as an addiction, but tv is a great way to wind down and be entertained with minimal effort. I don't watch nearly as much tv as I used to. But, at the end of my day, after working 8-10 hours, then coming homing and doing some housework, taking care of dinner, cleaning up after dinner, I just want to relax. That's usually when I'll sit down and watch a couple programs.
