Remakes of Asian Dramas into Philippine series.

hmm..after watching my girl - not religiously though. inspite that they failed to be equal to the original but still it's a good remake. i am very fond of koreanovelas and i have read in pep that GMA is also doing a remake of full house. and that heart will play the role of jessie. let's ee how this goes. i would be very much interested on how ABS will do their strategy by trying to make their remakes better. i hope this time, they won't fail the masses.

i do not see any reason why they are doing these things. seeing those shows dubbed in english or filipino is fine enough. so, all that they have to do will be to have copies of those original and then dub them in english or filipino as they used to do before. i believe that it is easier that they do it this way. also, we get to see as to how the series was really done originally. actually, i do not have any interest in seeing them in remakes philippine style. in fact, i have ceased to be watching television when the time for the airtime of these remakes take place.

It really sucks that Filipinos do this. It just shows that we're nothing but copycats. Yeh Asian Dramas are nice and its ok if we adapt some of them. But sometimes I just feel like it too much that we tend to forget to make out own. I'd choose no remakes. There are a lot of talented filipinos around waiting to be given the right opportunity/break. So instead of wasting money on remakes, go and search for new people with fresh ideas and turn them into telenobelas.
