I just had a traumatic night

I was already in our street when this guy riding a motorbike passed through me, and my spider sense realized that he was already at my back when he pointed his gun on me. While pointing his gun, he was asking for my cellphone. Yes, I was texting while walking which made me an easy prey. It was indeed a bad idea. Anyways, I threw my phone inside our compound which made the guy disappointed of me. He asked me not too shout. I did not. But I vividly remembered his face. I am scared that he might be back lurking and planning to get back on me. I saw him halting somewhere on the other street and made a turn back to perhaps my place. Or somewhere. I am scared. I am plainly scared.

hello tryxiness Be thankful that nothing happened to you. Good thing, you are already near your compound. Just be careful next time, just ask somebody to accompany you on walking especially at night. And learn the lesson, don't text while walking. and one more thing, How's the celphone? LOL Take care always

Oh, the phone is tough. It survived the impact. I have dropped it and battered it a lot of times but it's a survivor.

You should have used your spider web then wrap him then report him to the police. Too bad you're not Spiderman. Lol! Kidding aside, you're one damn lucky girl. He could have shot you the moment you threw your phone on the compound. I think you should stay indoors for awhile unless necessary. Hold uppers like that are usually just around the corner.

Yes, they are just around the corner (I have learned this from friends and people from the neighborhood)... If only I have my spider web... or if only I could banish him into dust I would have done that! :P And yeah, I have been house arresting myself lately.

OMG wow that was indeed traumatic for you I am just glad that our of their disappointment they did not hurt you in any way. Well I guess you need to have a chaperon perhaps from now own when going out or maybe when you are coming from somewhere. I think despite that you should report that to the police so that they too could be alerted and maybe do some patrolling in your area.

Yes, I am more aware of things lately. Funny is my mother would want my brother to fetch me from work so that I will be safe. Funny thing is, my brother reminded me that I have been reminding him all these years not to answer phone calls or send text messages when in public. It back fired on me.

That's really traumatic. Thank heavens you and your mobile phone survived the ordeal. You did the right thing. Throw your phone away and did not scream. Or else... And, yes, reporting this to the police and to your neighborhood association (if there's one) will help eliminate the recurrence of such incident. Remain vigilant until arrests are made in your area. AS much as possible, never walk alone be at daylight or at night.

Thank god you are okay.... did you report this to the police? If you can remember the face you should do that. If it happened to you it will happen to someone else. How would you feel if you could have gotten this person off the street but didn't and someone got hurt or killed?

Thank you for the concern. Yes, I told our gate guards and had reported the incident already. I learned that there have been a number of cases like this and that the same guy was the suspect.

Wow... something like that has never happened to me... and i don't know if i would just hand over my things... or run run and run... but some people would say that it was quite stupid of you to throw the cell phone because that might have angered the robber... and he could have shot you... good thing he did not... So i guess, he was quite stunned and confused with your sudden action... maybe that was the first time that happened to him... but i am just glad that you are safe... and that he was not able to get your cell phone... this is why i refuse to text or answer calls when i am on the street... a lot saver that way...

Aww...a holdaper?! Most of the ppl did that, when it comes to cellphone they were desperately want to steal them away from you especially when you have latest model phone. You're not the only one who experience this thing..

Man, you just risked your life just for a cellphone. You should have given you phone to him so that he will just run away and end of story. You can add that to your most fearful experiences. But, you threw your phone inside your compound, good thing he didn't shoot you right up in your face. Next time something like this occurs, you should just give it to them, besides you can buy a new phone anytime. Do not ever risk your life for something like that, you got only one life man. Cheers kababayan, happy mylotting!!!!

Hi, good thing your safe and be able to post your experience here... hehe.. Its really unsafe during those time of the day and you cannot fully trust anyone because anyone has a potential to deceive and betray you.
