recently i was at a concert where there was this young wonder child of eight playing tabla duet with his father pandit nayan ghosh. now anyone who doesnt know pandit is a title given to those selected few who have mastered a certain form of music. this child ishaan ghosh is nayan ghosh 's son. the ease he played with his father head on was remarkable. now tabla is an instrument which is very difficult to master. it takes years for someone to master the instrument like the world famous maestro zakir hussain. the performance of this child made me emotional. do you have this kind of experience of witnessing a god gifted talent? what was the last time that a performance left you spell bound? please share....
