Yuk Cobwebs how do they form?

Cobwebs - This is a picture of the Cobwebs I found while cleaning an area I rarely visit.

I was cleaning and I discovered cobwebs on my wall and ceiling in a corner of my house I dont visit much. How do cobwebs form? Does a spider make them are is it from dust?

I do believe that they are formed by spiders,they may be small at first and sometimes when we dont see them right away they get built up with dust on them. I completely agree how gross they are, I do serious cleaning like 4 times a year and I just did one after the new year and got rid of alot of them...LOL good luck and stay clean!! LOL
