Love potions - a possibility?

I was watching the new discovery show Brink and because it was Valentine's Day when the show was recorded they had a full episode on various love related items from a stinky breath tester to a love potion. When I first saw the preview, I must admit, that I was a little bit creeped out by the idea of such a potion. I could just imagine rich, rejected men getting a hold of it (or women for that matter) and making someone love them who didn't. In reality, though, the only real things that this potion can do at the moment is to make you more open to the idea of love and to decrease the number of flaws you see in a potential mate. As far as I'm concerned, we can do that already. It's called beer. What do you think of a love potion? Would you pay for something that might not make the person love you but would make them like you better? How much would you pay? For myself, (and all my flaws) I wouldn't pay anything. Either the person likes me or they don't. I'm not going to go around spraying them with something to make them like me better. I would think that would be illegal.

The use of love potions is not a possibility, but is already being used by certain people in certain Asian countries. There are many types of love potions available, and their effectiveness varies. Fortunately they are not widely available. Otherwise life could become more chaotic. These love potions are not to be confused with male and female performance enhancing products. I do not agree to the use of love potions. I prefer the person to like me purely from the heart, not because of being under control of a love potion. all the best, rosdimy

i never really did tried love potion although i know some.....cos i think its unfai to the person...and nothing beats true love....and im really afraid of the outcome...most of love potion doesnt last long....i want my partner to love me for who i am...and not because....of love potion....a friend of mine actually did it...it works....the guy fall over heels with her....the guy was like a body guard....everywhere she goes....the guy is always behind her..giving her everything she wants....eventually the guy woke up in reality....and break it off with my friend....it was the worse fight i've ever seen...every potion every spells....there will always be a price to pay....

I don't think love potions work. If they did, though, I'd rather be loved for me. I have a lot of faults and failings and I'd want to be with someone who loved me with all my failings. That's real love, if someone sees your faults but loves you just the way you are anyway.
