Do you take vitamin supplements?

l started to take vitamin supplements after being pescribed by my family doctor. Can say, before l take vitamin supplements, my health is poor and easily get sick. l take vitamin supplements like Vitamin C, Calcium and Multivitamin for general health. How about you?

Many times I get pimples in my mouth that disturbs me very much. Now to I have one in my tongue that irritates me very much especially while eating. So I am taking B-complex Vitamin C since yesterday. I am hoping to get this cured soon.

l do having this kind of problem before. Yes, those supplements do helps.. But need to take plenty of water as well.

Well I am drinking as much water as I remember. But I forget to remember lol...Any way thanks for the suggestion. Ouch...The pimple is still bothering me...

Hi myfb!Its not always advisable to rely on vitamin supplements because of two reasons.Firstly there are certain prcurssor molecules in the natural food which helps the body to get maximum benefits from the vitamins.The synthetic vitamins lack this.But now a days there are phytonutrient vitamins which are better option. Second drawback of these supplements are that some of the vitamins are not excreted out but stored in the body leading to hypervitaminosis.This happens when the vitamins are consumed for a long duration. So I feel slowly switching over to natural nutrients in the long term is better option.The supplement should be taken only till the doctor prescribes.

Thanx for your information..Actually, my family doctor only perscribed me to take those vitamins, 2 times in a week. Besides that, he also asked me to have more intake on fresh fruits and vegetables. Until l fully recover, then l can cut-off my intake on vitamins.

Im not taking any supplement at the moment. I keep forgetting to take them so i stopped... On the other hand, I eat healthy and lots of fruits whenever I can especially citrus fruits for vitamin C. For my pale skin which some of my doctors sometimes think I still have anaemia, I eat bitter gourd fruit or leaves, well it is really bitter but i have to ... For calcium, i drink milk from time to time....Hope you are feeling better and having an active day...

Thanx for your concern. Now, my health had improved a lot. Yup, l tried to switch to natural remedies for a try.

i take multivitamin supplement every to boost the energy ill be needing for everyday's work. i have 2jobs and its really hard for me to stay up late on my 2nd job. when im still not taking supplement, i easily get tired, but now, its better.
