I have watched the "ABC" soaps since I was 7, and I'm now in my early 30's. I don't much care for General Hospital right now, though. So I don't know a whole lot about what's going on. I do still watch AMC and OLTL, though! My favorites!!

AmbiePambie, that is because your mother didn't want you to get hooked on soap opera's. i bet you were a sneaky little thing for every thing that she forbid you to do. all little kid's are that way, parent's say no, they do it any way without saying nothing to their parent's. some time's they get caught and some time's they don't. :) :) :)

I have watched the "ABC" soap's since i was little also. my mother got me hooked on them and i am still watching them in my mid forty's.

They have a very good story line going on now. you should try watching it again, they have the character Scott Baldwin back and i think he will be there for awhile.

I don't get to watch any soaps much anymore, but I loved General Hospital, and I still keep up with it online. I used to watch Passions, but lets face it, they give wacky a bad name! I do hate to see something so original get canceled though.

I try to watch the them all in the afternoon, if i can't i catch them at night on soapnet. i have not been watching them for the last few day's as my tv is on the blink. All My Children, One Life to Live, and General Hospital were just starting to get very good story line's going also. hope to get my tv back up and running soon so i don't miss much, am i a soap addict or what,:) :) :)

Yea, it's hard not to get addicted to soap's. my mother got me hooked when I was little, so i have been watching soap's since i was in grade school. i got to see every one on there as they grew older and now some of them are not on the show's any more.

MY favs are YR and Days right now. I used to watch passions and sometimes I'll watch BB.

I use to watch all my children but then got a day job and switched to evening soaps like melrose place lol but all that was years ago, I now rarely watch tv

The only soap I watch is "Guiding Light." The only reason I watch it is because I was pregnant with our second son in 1976 and I was waiting for another program that I used to like to come on and I got intrigued by the story lines and I'm still watching it because it hasn't gone off the air yet. For 30 years+ I just can't stop. I've seen clips from other soaps so I think it's the best soap, but I'm kind of biased. There's one actor who's kind of new, Tom Pelphrey, who started about more than a year ago, who plays Jonathan Randall and I believe out of all actors TV, Movies, he is the best actor I've ever seen in my life and I'm more than a half a century old lol. Thanks for asking this question, I always wanted to tell somebody that.
