am a little upset right now

I had just received an email from my apartment manager that they denied my boyfriend's application to move in. They started doing credit checks, etc and for some reason, his got denied. I am really upset because we have been planning this for months. He needed to fill out an application to move in, policy. I am not sure what to do. I am thinking we ought to move but nothing is available and with him being laid off, it will be rough. I guess I just need to cool off and see what happens.
