I just learned mine this morning when I went in for free credit councelling. Mine is above 500, but it's still very bad credit. My husband's is even lower than that! Do you know yours, or can you take a guess as to what it is?

I have no idea what my credit score is right now. I am almost afraid to find out. It was not very high at all a few years ago when I last checked. I keep seeing these commercials for getting credit reports, but I have not done it yet.

A free credit report will not give you your credit score for free, that usually costs something. I never knew my credit score until the other day when we went down to the credit union for credit councelling. Mine actually isn't as bad as I thought it was.

I'm not sure where our credit scores are right now. We tried to refinance our mortgage a few months ago and had trouble. Our one credit score came back in the low 600's but then the other ones came back in the 500's. We've had trouble paying bills on time so that hurts. Plus my husband is named after his father so we have trouble with his father's bad stuff showing up on our credit.

That has got to be a serious pain in the fanny!! Thus far I haven't had any major issues with my credit report, nothing that doesn't belong at least.

I just found out my credit score is 670(which equates to a D) I am a little disappointed, but that just lets me know what I need to work on. apparently a decent score starts around 750, then just gets better from there.

My hubby and I have pretty good credit. Last time I checked mine was good, don't recall the number My hubbys is higher than mine. But I don't remember the number. Guess that means time to check again.

Not exactly, we are in the low 700's that last I knew. Hubby's is also a bit lower than mine & of course since I fixed his credit he thinks he can just go and get us into some serious debt (don't tell him I said that) but since I got my job he traded vehicles & gotten a few other things wich I really wanted to keep us afloat and pay things off... guess not. CARP!

Be grateful yours is 500. I recently found out mine through ACORN and it is not pretty... more like depressing but hopefully updating my credit reports and paying off my debts will change that. I kow its not gonna happen over nite but I'm hoping I can kept a positive outlook on this.

I am not sure what it is exactly but I know when we applied for a mortgage we were told that we both had excellent scoring because I was really surprised I had thought mine was non existent!!
