Starbucks has instant coffee now! / myLot

I just got a press release fo it in my inbox. It's called Starbucks VIA Ready Brew. Just add hot water like other instants on the market. My coffee maker takes about 7 minutes to make a pot, I know I can get plan old hot water faster than that.

I heard about this, but I'm not sure if I would buy it. Thank you for the link to the free sample...it is good thinking on their part to do that. A lot of people, myself included, are prejudiced against instant coffee, and would not buy it without trying it, no matter what the brand. I have a machine that makes one cup at a time, so it really doesn't take that long. I'll definitely sign up for the sample and see how it is.

Thanks, I've also heard about this but haven't tried it yet. I don't normally like instant coffee, but I read that this was supposed to taste MUCH better than other instants. I will definitely try to get the free sample, if I'm not too late (as I notice your post was from a year ago..), or else I will try it next time I'm in Starbucks.

You should definitely ask for a sample. I was in Target this morning and both coffee at the Starbucks and the Barista gave me a free sample of the Regular and Italian Roast (I didn't ask, she gave them to me with the receipt).
