What are some of your favorite Lost theories you've heard, read on the internet or come up with yourself? Right now, my favorite theory that I've heard is that Penny and Desmond's son Charlie is actually Charles Widmore. They take him back to the island in the past and he grows up there, and something happens to his parents or something and grows up to be the man we know as Charles Widmore... Penny's father! Which would make him his own grandfather! I don't necessarily think that is true or believe that theory, but I think it's pretty fun to think about and would be totally crazy if that were the case! Right now my favorite theory that I've come up with myself is that the reason the Others all learn and speak Latin is because it's Richard Aleprt's native language! What about you? What crazy theories have you come up with or heard others come up with?

Desmond and Charlie did have a strong connection. I can't imagine that the kid grows up to be his own grandfather. Time travel shows and movies always seem flawed to me. It doesn't seem like the kid should grow up to be the Charlie we knew from the show either. They do keep saying that Richard is VERY old. I hadn't thought about Roman times and I am still not sure how in the world they could explain that. But they have thrown out some pretty inexplicable things so far so I guess anything is possible.

I like the theory about mythical sunken island Atlantis. The story of the lost island of Atlantis is recorded by Plato. If he is right, the island disappeared about 11-12,000 years ago after a failed attempt to invade Athens, Atlantis sank into the ocean "in a single day and night of misfortune".

But maybe Charlie (Penny and Desmond's son) is actually the Charlie that was Claire's boyfriend.... have you considered that one? That show really blows my mind, I just don't get it sometimes. What is the point?
