I heard a news report yesterday concerning the restructuring plan by Chrysler. All of the details were not disclosed and thus far I have not read any reports that give specific details. However, one of the items contained in the plan is that Chrysler will discontinue Three of its model production lines. I hope one of these is not the viper. I have been a fan of Chrysler vehicles for some years and when the viper deputed in 1991 I was very impressed. The viper is a super mega sports car in my opinion and gives Chrysler a recognized name among place among other exotic sports car makers in the world. It is unfortunate that the auto maker is in financial trouble. I understand the necessity of the restructuring for its continued survival but if they decide to give the viper. It would be very sad. What do you think?

I love Vipers as well, it shows the wild side of a car. really love to have one but i can't afford it as in our country the tax is double the original price of the car, and there is no runway which will be long enough to obtain the top speed.

I hope not, I love Vipers!! That is my favorite car. If they do discontinue it, maybe they will bring it back in a few years when the economy picks back up again. Now I will have to buy a '68 Shelby GT. :D
