TV station phones 'ringing off the hook' after switch to DTV.More than 400 U.S. stations turned off their analog TV broadcasts Tuesday, and station managers say their phones are "ringing off the hook" with viewers confused by the early switch; that said, many admit they knew it was coming. Did you have the coupon for the box, cable, satelite? Or are you doing w/o tv? http://tech.yahoo.com/blogs/patterson/38843

I hooked rabbit ears up to an old television tonight and my kids TV still gets most of the regular stations you would expect with rabbit ears.

I forgot it was happening so early, but it's not something we had to be concerned about. Our cable is still working just fine.

Gosh I forgot all about that. I think we have digital cable though so it shouldn't affect me but if I hadn't I would have been screwed. That would be seriously frustrating to wake up one day and find that you don't have cable. I wonder if there are alot of tv's that won't convert. Until about 2 years ago, the only tv we had was mine from 20 years ago. I had had it since I was a little kid and we just got rid of it. I seriously doubt it would have worked with the new cable.

I lost 2 channels, Fox and ABC but still have 6 channels, CBS, NBC, OPB, RTN, a spanish channel and I forget what the other one is. And of course I'll lose them come June but then I don't really care. This has been coming for 2 years, and with the last 6 months all the service announcements the annoying crawlers on the top and bottoms of the screens during programings, the "tests" where they show you what you'll get on the channel if you're not ready....Nobody should be complaining. We were warned. People need to suck it up, get a box, get a digital TV, subscribe to cable or just give up TV but quit crying about it. Sheesh!
