Hey guys, Ok, so I'm new on this site, but so far I find it quite interesting, but what I find more interesting is that nobody seems to have posted a top ten of their favorite books and made a discussion about it; at least, if they have, I didn't find it upon my quick search. Anyways, I would like to know what everybody loves to read. My top ten have got to be . . . 10) Cell - Stephen King 9) Farewell to Arms - Hemingway 8) Old Man and the Sea - Hemingway 7) A Tale of Two Cities - Charles Dickins 6) Thinner -Stephen King 5) Pillars of the Earth - Ken Follet 4) World Without End - Ken Follet 3) Eye of the Needle - Ken Follet 2) Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone -J.K. Rowling 1) Freddy and Fredericka - Mark Helprin Thanks for reading, and post your own if you'd like

hmmm, just ten, that's not an easy one...LOL or ten... my books tend to be in series the last 2 yrs, and the ones I have been reading have about 15 books in each series... so I would say that my top 5 would be... 1) Dark series by Christine feehan, 2) Dark Hunter series by Sherrilyn Kenyon 3) Blackdagger brotherhood by JR Ward 4) Brothers of Blood series by Kathryn Smith 5) Nightwalker series by Jacquelyn Frank all in all, that is about 45 books in all at least...LOL

I set out to find a discussion to make my 1000th post before going to bed and THIS is what I find?! Wow, the trouble I do get myself into. In no particular order: The Forever King by Molly Cochran and Warren Murphy (the first of a fantasy trilogy about King Arthur in modern times but I think the most interesting of the three, although the second, The Broken Sword, had me rolling in a couple of spots) Firestarter by Stephen King The Dresden Files: Summer Knight by Jim Butcher Alice in Wonderland by Lewis Carroll Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban by J.K. Rowling Carrie by Stephen King The Portable Dorothy Parker (a collection of her poems and short stories) The Bridge to Terabethia by Katherine Paterson (read it in the 3rd grade and cried like a baby) Dresden Files: Blood Rites by Jim Butcher (the whole series is incredible but Blood Rites and Summer Knight are both pivotal points in the overall story) Sula by Toni Morrison

Its true, I've never seen a top ten. There may have been one way back when, but here it goes! 10. 1984 - George Orwell 9. Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows - J.K. Rowling 8. Where The Red Fern Grows - Wilson Rawls 7.The Ruby Landry series - V.C. Andrews 6. Firestarter - Stephen King 5.Life Expectancy - Dean Koontz 4.Twilight - Stephenie Meyer 3.Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban - J.K. Rowling 2.Angels & Demons - Dan Brown 1. Watchers - Dean Koontz That was kind of hard actually as I have read many books and love a lot of them. Have a great day and happy mylotting!

Reading is my fave pass time so picking ten books seems a little unfair...lol. But if I had to choose: 1) Twilight~Stephenie Meyer 2) Breaking Dawn~Stephenie Meyer 3) Polar Shift~Clive Cussler 4) The Chase~Clive Cussler 5) Duma Key~Steven King 6) Flowers In The Attic~V.C. Andrews 7) The Woods~Harlan Coben 8) Promise Me~Harlan Coben 9) Bugalow 2~Danielle Steel 10) Toxic Bachelors~Danielle Steel These are only recent books I have read and really enjoyed. To go back 20 plus years and go over all the books I read, would take forever for me to choose favorites. Good topic!
