Have you ever felt you were falling for your teacher or professor?

If so, what did you do about it? What can you do? Nothing can come out of it, because it wouldn't be in the interest of fairness and it is improper and unprofessional. Is it completely pointless to feel that way even if you're both legal adults? It's best to just keep it inside, but I'm curious to know if anyone here has ever acted out such an emotion. Maybe serenade the teacher with a song like...."I can't hide this feeling, anymore!"

Well I guess its but natural that you feel that way. Sometimes we put teachers as our inspiration especially when the professor is good in their subject you tend to be mesmerized by it. When I was young I usually have this kind of attraction with them but as time goes by and you move on to the next level that feeling somehow fades away as there are more teachers that will catch your attention again.

Gosh, when I was in highschool I had a crush on my friends cousin, though we were friends and we went on family things together, I never let my crush feelings show.. I was so shocked when he started to be sub teacher for my Math Class while my regular teacher when on maternity leave. It was odd seeing him like that... but i will have to say after spending 6 weeks with him, we finally talked about things and even though he was 5 years older than I, we started dating after he finished his postion. It didn't last though. We still remain friends, most likley because we still attend family events that our families share together. It was still kind of a thrill, lol.

I can't say I fell for a teacher, but I did have a HUGE crush on a permanent substitute history teacher in high school. He was a cutie pie and love history, my favorite subject, but alas, he was ahem 14 years older than me. 14 years wouldn't matter too much to me now, but when I was 17 it seemed like a whole lot. I never said anything because I knew it was silly, but he sure made the last half of the year in history very interesting.

Well, if you loved history, you were still probably able to get good grades despite a bit of a distraction, huh?!

Oh yea, I always made straight A's in history. But having a hot teacher didn't hurt any.
