In sleeping.. it is more comfortable for me to rest in a totally dark room, it is more relaxing & provides a very deep sleep, saves electricity as well. Why some doesn't want to switch lights off while sleeping? Which do prefer lights ON or Lights OFF?

..it doesn't actually matter for me even if the lights are on or off.. I could sleep in both situation.. but for now, because I have my little angel, I prefer to keep the lights on when we sleep..

I agree. For me, it's easier to sleep in a dark room. (A completely dark room is usually not possible for me since there's always light from my alarm clock.) In a dark room, I can think better, so it's much more relaxing like you said. Some people might be scared of the dark or they might have fears about monsters or ghosts or something.

Studies have shown that sleeping in total darkness helps your body produce melatonin, which effects your energy level. Having said that, I don't leave any lights on in the house, but I have guard lights outside and my curtains aren't heavy drapes, so once my eyes adjust to the darkness I can see enough to get up and go to the bathroom or whatever if I wake up during the night.

i am a big baby when it comes to laying in the dark at night with no noise. so i have the tv on with the sound down low. that way i get a little bit of light and a bit of background noise so that every little noise isn't waking me up in the middle of the night.

If I am tired enough, it really doesn't matter to me. I usually leave the TV on though, but that light really doesn't bother me.
