Biggest Loser

So i am a big fan of this show. I love watching success stories instead of just hearing about all the failures. Last night the pink team was up for elimination and one of them had to go home. they are a mother daughter team. the daughter has much more weight to loose than the mother and the pair asked to have the mother stay and the daughter go home. i was appalled. that decision did not make any sense to me. the daughter needed to be there much more than her mother!!
does anyone else follow this show? any reactions?

Yes, I am hooked on this seasons biggest loser and I did see it last night, I wasnt sure about who really should go home between them, since the daughter went home the first time for the first 30 days, and the mom stayed and the daughter did better at home losing the weight... and when they did the update she did lose 89 lbs to date when they taped that... I dont think it is an easy choice to send anyone home as it is, they all need to be there --that is why they are there!!
but all in all, I hope the ones that do end up going home do well and learn enough to follow through with what they started.
