Should I get an I-Pod?

I've always wanted an I-pod, but I don't know whether to get one, because I can listen to music on my phone. But I've always wanted one, because it's looks really nice to have, and it can fit more songs on it, more than my mobile. Another issue is money, I didn't really want to spend that much on it, and ever since the new i-pod nano's have came out, I've been a bit iffy of whether to get one or not. But as they say, life is too short, so should I get one or not? What do you think? (:
