Well me and my friend that I was coauthoring a book with have just finished up the book yesterday and it goes to get scrutinized on firday and publishing hopefully here we come.... Now I don't expect a lot of money from this endeavor since this will be the first book that me or him publish but I'm hoping that it will be enough that I can take care of some things and maybe just maybe put this money away for a FAMILY vacation next year or better yet a small down payment on a home..I don't kow but what I do know is that I'm hoping that everything goes right and to be honest the book was set up to write a sequel to go with it or it can be made into a series. So to make this a discussion, Have you ever written and gotten a book published ever? If so how long and how many companies did you take your ideas too?

Good luck and good job! I've tried to write my share of books, but have never finished one, so you have something on me. I just stick to short stories, poems and writing for my paper. I've had a couple friends publish books and they just sent their manuscripts to anybody that would accept it; the more places you send it, the greater the chance you have of someone, somewhere, liking it. Good luck again, I hope it works out well for you

Thanks I this is the first place we're trying so I'm hopeful but I also understand that we might get rejected. So we are going to hit all the publishers and go from there I don't think I would have been able to pull this off without my writing partner so I have to give him a lot of credit.
