Am i doing wrong with my girl friend ?

Friends this is gaurav. now a days i am facing a problem with my girl friend. Actually i love my girl friend a lot and hope she also think like me. But yesterday i asked to her we have complete 1 year together and i wanna marry with you. She said OK but her mom and dad want to do her marriage with another person. and she don't want to hurt those mom and dad. She said i love you and also wanna marry with you but what about my mom dad ? and asked her can i talk to your mom about us ? she said no. I couldn't understand why she is saying like that and i told her ok come with me and left her home forever. But again she deny me. She said me I love you but i couldn't understand what should i do ? then i again said its ok and good you thinking for your parents so we need to brake up. because its very hard and painful for left you from my life but it will become more critical after 2-3 years. Actually we have only 1 years relationship but after some years if you would not marry with me i will die. But if you we closed our story now so its easy for us. Because after 2-3 years i can't left you it will not my cup of tea. So my friends tell me Am i doing right with her or wrong
