We Americans have certainly lost our esteem in the eyes of many. We've even lost the esteem in which we held ourselves. Now that we're being led differently, given a bit of time, I'm sure they will see we're back on top. Things will probably never be the same, but what is? We are heading, I believe, toward a kinder but stronger role in the world. We seem to have lost touch with the benevolence that characterized America for most of our past, but it's coming back, and that's a wonderful starting point for rebuilding a positive image and regaining respect which we will, once again and at last, deserve!

I think the diplomacy of the us has badly failed everywhere. They though bombing is the solution for all problems, which is absolutily turned wrong.

Hurting and killing can never be the right answers! We can only hope it's true that we're going in a different direction! We certainly need to do that, rather desperately!

America is just a country like others. It should stop its Big Boss attitude against all the other nations and stop interfering in other country`s internal matters.

why should people in other countries listen to americans? every country has its own right to decide what it should do. yes, us is economically and militarily strong, but it does not mean they are empowered to give orders at their will. they should respect other people and treat other people as equal.
