Do you lock your door or gate at night ?

Hi Tudor, I live in the state of the Yucatan in Mexico. Same small fishing village as beachstarz. I close my gate at night but don't lock it, don't even have a lock for it. I also close and lock my front door but none of the other doors in my house. I have 2 dogs that the local people here seem really scared of, but they aren't scary at all, they would never bit anyone. Even without dogs, this is a very peaceful quiet place with almost no crime.

I do lock my gate and door at night before going to bed. If I'm not going to bed yet I will lock the gate and leave the door open.

Yes I lock up at night, cos there are alot of opportunistic theives out there and I dont want to give them a chance

we lock every thing before go to bed. and the worst thing is all the time i have to do that, because i am who comes late from outside. its not safe leaving it ajar.

I always keep my apartment door locked. I feel a lot safer with it locked, whether I'm in my apartment or not. It's just a habit that I picked from my parents. When my parents would leave my sister and/or me by ourselves in the house, they always reminded us to make sure that the front door was locked.

Well, I definitely lock up my doors at night because of the high risk that is present. It is always wise to lock it up otherwise there are enough people around who would gladly take advantage. In India, anyways we have a pretty nasty crime rate so we need to be careful and even decent-looking people at time show their true colors when a tempting oppurtunity to steal comes before them. Anyways, so I always make it a point to shut the door before tucking in.
