Men are guilty--- who killed the elephant ?

A minute before this discussion, I watched a piece of TV program. The scene is like this : a baby elephant is moarning beside his mother elephant , people on spot cried and touched by this moving scene. Who shot the mother elephant is unclear, right now the Chinese police are investigating the case. When people are trying to remove the baby elephant, the baby refused to leave and went back to his mother.
He was only months-old, and cannot survive without mother's milk. The crowd tried to lead the baby elephant onto the truck by feeding him milk, but after drinking, he refused to move again and ran back to his mother and keep moarning beside the dying elephant. The crowd were all reduced to tears.

Men has always been known for it cruelty. He considers himself above all the living creatures. Most of us understand the value of co-existence and many of us just knowingly ignore it for our personal profits and persuits. The baby elephant is now left alone. She needs her mother for survival, now it's a serious problem. The authority has to take care of her now. Even though she is not human, she can understand the love of her mother. It's so sad to hear and come across this kind of news. The people and the authority should be more motivated to stop hunting of animals. Only the authority alone can't do it.
