Animals in Sports and Entertainment

Do you think that humans are allowed to use animals as objects of sports and entertainment? We can think about horse-racing, bull-fightning, for example. Are we as human right to do so in the first place? Personally, i feel that we are wrong, terribly wrong in exploiting the rights of these animals. first, it is wrong to use animals in any way, second, look at the number of cases of animals made to suffer in the context of sports and entertainment? Animals are like us, they can feel fear, stress, exhaustion and pain. If you think horses are treated well in horse-racing, well, they are frequently injured, and even die in the process. If you think that animals in the circus are treated well, well, think again. Whips, sticks, electric goads are used. Shelters for elephants, lions, tigers, are often cramped in cages. They often end up physically and mentally ill due to cramped habitats as circus move frequently. I guess i will skip bull fighting.. You should know the answer better. I would seriously encourage to ban circus and condemn people who exploit animals for their entertainment. What do you think?

There are such animals, which could not survive without human. For example, because of illness or not being used to the wildlife. I think such animals can be in circus, if people take care of them, treat them as they deserve. Also, they should not be kept in cages, there must be some kind of enclosure, where they could walk freely and even hunt for food sometimes. I believe they think that it is some kind of game they make on the stage. So I do not see anything bad in their performance.. But it is important to establish proper keeping and nourishment conditions. I am not against such sports like horse racing. There is a chance for horse to hurt itself. But if the rider loves his horse he will never mistreat it! So in this case there should be some institution, which controls horse-keeping people behaviour. But, I am against such sports like bull fighting, pitbull fighting, etc since it is very violent! I think such people do not like animals, they just humble them!

I guess it varies from cases to cases for you.. But as you know, circus are mobile, they couldn't possible offer enclosure for them to move around, even if they do, it's still not these animals natural habitats.. As for horse racing, i have always thought a small whip is being used to make them run faster?
