eating carrots

Can a person with diabetis eat carrots.

Personally I love eating Carrots from time to time. They are a good vegetable to eat and safe for diabetics. You just might want to avoid the small carrots as they are not good for anyone, but if you clean and cut up the larger ones they should be fine. Eating raw is the best, but I have been known to eat them in mixed vegatables from time to time as well. And since I am Insulin diabetic these do not really effect me either.

I also heard that carrots can cure diabetic. At least to control the sugar in the body.

yes, they can. I suggest that you search the American Diabeties Association's web site (I was unable to paste the link). My husband was diagnose with diabetes a few years ago and we were amazed at the things he did not have to give up. The key is not what you eat but how much of it and to always moniter your blood sugar so you know how your food is affecting you.
