I was curious to know what's the majority of where people spend their money most. Mine is basically on food and clothes. But not too much 'cause I put some on my bank account. What about you guys? Where do you spend most of your money?

Most money goes to rent, I would say food is number two. Then comes phone, electricity, gas. Actually I spend more on books, mainly comic books and graphic novels, each month than the phone bill, so that is actually number 3. What can I say? I love reading.

Most of the time, I spend my money in food and gas. I do not spend money much in other things. Me and my wife always gives priority to everything that we need at home. We have a lot of expenses like food, gas, tuition, maids and employees salary, bills, and a lot more. We are earning good enough and we can still save more. We can still save more than spend that is a good thing of hard work.

Most of my living expenses are paid for by my parents, so all my money basically goes towards the food I buy when I'm out with my friends, any extracurricular events at school, tickets to shows I go to, and clothing. Everything else is bought and paid for by my parents, since I still live under their roof. But I'm going to be needing much more money soon, since I'm moving out in September and will need to pay for everything myself.

Good question! I think majority of my money goes off in buying gifts for other hand clothes and accessories for myself. This, ofcourse, I a talking excluding the savings. I save most part in bank and after that remaining majority is spend in gifts. I love to see the glitters in the eyes of my loved ones. Nothing like it!

Our money gets spent mostly on bills. We're a little bit in debt. Food is bought as needed, or when we can buy it in bulk. Eventually, the money will get funneled into a savings account, but that's going to have wait a little while. There's not alot of money left over to be saved.

I spend my money on food, rent, gas, electricity, the occasional take-away, pocket money for my son, and investing in my business ideas.

I spend my money on basic necessities like food, clothes, bills, etc. I don't spend it on other things I don't need often, so I end up saving most of my money in my bank account, although, occasionally I spend it on furnishings for my house, and or books, since I like to read. : ) Most of my money is for food though, since I tend to wear clothes I already have rather than buying new clothes that I rarely have time to wear.

I also mostly spend on food - I have a strange feeling that I've already responded to a similar discussion and I checked the responses but I didn't see myself in any of them lol Anyway, I also have a reasonable percentage of my earnings spend on my rent but I always try to make sure that there's enough to keep in the bank :) Thanks for the response on my discussion!

I am a very frugal person so up until recently in order I spent it on mortgage, health insurance, taxes, groceries, misc. But due to enormouse increases that would have changed to health insurance being highest except I have dropped that company and I'm hoping to get approved by another one that is cheaper but that may not happen which will leave me with no coverage.

what a nosy girl you are.... har har har of course on commodities. bills, food or groceries, we rent an apartment so we pay that monthly too. then we use money to treat ourselves. we go out every week or twice a month. i think all of us spends our money this way. we work hard to pay the bills and to buy food. we save as we can then spend that on vacations or in appliances that we need to change or we need to have.

I spend most of my income on housing, then transportation and then food, no more money left for saving and entertainment and clothing; the cost of a minimum cost of living had gone up greatly in the past decade in USA due to high inflation rate and more government friendly policy in rewarding corporates greed of past administration.
