Online or the high street?

With recent changes in the economy and people tightening the purse strings, are you finding better deals on the internet or the high street?? I prefer to shop online as don't like getting pushed about in shops or people being just plain rude or the sales assistant trying to sell me something I'm clearly not interested in but have found some good bargins when I have ventured into town!

I really prefer to see what I am buying as I have gotten stung a few times online...not alot but enough to leave me a bit hesitant...and I prefer making a day of shopping with a friend or sister or someone close...I really don't like to shop anyway!

Thanks for your response Jillhill. You are the opposite to me as I prefer online and haven't had really had any problems. And I love to shop, doesn't matter wether it's for myself or someone else x

I would buy things in high streets because I get to touch the things before I buy. I do shop occasionally online from time to time but those usually are just cheaper online and I have an experience about it already. For new stuff, I still want to try on or examine it face to face before buying.
