What the H*LL? We all had them this week

In the past few weeks, we have had dry air in my house. I have a few things I do to add humidity, but it can be a delicate balance. Run a humidifier in an area too small and it will get the floor wet. And, unlike my father, I am not willing to leave the stove on all night with a pot of water boiling. That just seems stupid.

I've never had any sort of nose bleed at all, ever!

I get more nosebleeds in the summer then any other time of the year. I don't know if I just get to hot or my nose to dry or what but they just happen frequently in summer. It can be a bother if your some place public when it happens that is why it is always best to have a packet of tissues on the ready so you can grab fast.

Not a really bad one. My brother on Christmas got a nose bleed that was pretty bad. He got blood on the kitchen floor. It just sort of happened. It is really dry in his house. I don't normally get nose bleeds, just really dry sinuses.

Hello ersmommy1! OMG! So all of you got nosebleeds? It's so sad to hear that. I guess nosebleeding runs in the family, right? I never had nosebleeds. No one in our family actually. I don't want to experience it either.

I have never had a real nose bleed, I get bloody sinus's from time to time but never a full out bloody nose but my mom,husband and nephew get bloody noses sometimes but they have not had one since summer we do not usually do anything after they get the bleeding to stop though,but maybe running a humidifier would help keep them from having them,I will try that :)

yea, its the combo of the cold air outside and the warm air inside I think, because I have been having them, too and I NEVER get nosebleeds. It is not fun thats for sure!

My husband and I get them from time to time. We just deal with it the same way you do. We also use netti pot daily for our sinuses. This seems to cut down on them as well as cuts down on sinus infections. Namaste-Anora
