What are your favorite horror movies everybody? Mine is probably the Blaire Witch Project or 1408 --even though I don't really consider that to be so much a horror as a thriller-- Anyways, reply with your fav, and give me some good suggestions, I just got into them and haven't seen very many yet, thanks!

The Japanese Horror Movie----'Ju-on, The Grudge'. That's most scariest movie ever. Even the Hollywood version of it was so good. I did enjoyed 1408...but that's very frustrating movie.

Ha ha, frustrating as in confusing? I agree, but it's still one of my favorites. I've never seen Ju-on, but I have seen The Grudge and it's sequel --which, in my opinion, was spookier than its prequel-- Unless I misunderstood you and they're the same movie, just translated into English :/ sorry if that's the case. Thanks for the post

The short story is even more frustrating, I assure you. But well worth the struggle to read it through to the end.

But one thing I'm quite sure about is that The Japanese is more realsitic & creeps you out. You gotta see that.... Stroy is almost same though...

Hello, The Blair Withc Project is great isn't it? Especially if you go in viewing it with the belief that it's real footage and a true story. For an absolutely brilliant Blair Witch experience, search around the net for all the old Blair promo sites, which were done like actual news stories etc. Read a lot of the "fake" background, but allow yourself to get sucked into the mythology of it all, and allow yourself to believe it. Then wait until night, time, turn off the lights and watch the movie. It'll make you feel so uneasy, and definitely leaves you feeling rather unsettled afterwards. I have to admit that these days I'm not really a fan of horror films anymore, but The Blair Withc Project will always hold a special place in my heart, because I appreciate what it tried to do.

Hi there! My favorite horror or suspense / thriller movies are: The Texas Chainsaw Massacre, The Dentist, The Doctor, and a local one entitled "Signos". I am sorry if they don't perfectly fit the classification. I'm just confused when classifying movies into suspense, horror or thriller. I like The Blair Witch Project too. I think it's a good movie.

Oh definitely, sometimes it's confusing when determining the movies between horror, thriller and suspense. I have never gotten the chance to see the original Texas Chainsaw Massacre, though I've wanted to for a while; and I've never even heard of those other three, but I'll check them out. Thanks for the post, happy Lotting

I love horror movies but I am also very particular them. My list of favorites looks a little like this: Carrie Firestarter Identity Frailty Saw (but only the first one. It was perfect, the others stunk!) Secret Window Stay Alive (they skewed history a little but what's not to love in a movie about the Blood Countess, Elizabeth Bathory) Halloween (1, 2 and 4....3 was ridiculously unrelated and after 4 they got a little silly) Wicked Little Things

I love all of the old B/W's. Vincent Price was the man of horror! In terms of modern day ones, I think I have many but here are a few: House of a 1000 Corpses Devil's Rejects The Exorcism of Emily Rose Halloween (Zombie) Saw (all of them) Hostel

The only one on that last list that I've seen is Hostel, but I've been meaning to see the others. Thanks for the reminder and the post
