Hi,nowadays, more and more people especially young men pursue famous band crazily. As we all know, the most popular understanding of the famous brand is the well-known brands. In my opinion, the name brands are representatives of high quality, beauty, fashion and the forefront of the society. They are usually very expensive and symbolize the noble status and high taste. But,at present, blind pursuit of prestigious brands has formed a "famous brands hot",and many people take having name brands as a show off.I think this social mode is not very good.I hope we should have a correct attitude toward name brands and should not blindly worship.

famous brands - I like famous brands, but I won't buy its products as it is too expensive and I don't think that it is acceptable to me.
Hello hollysun. It is an interesting topic of yours that attracts my attention. Well, nowadays famous brands are not only popular among the youngsters, but the fairly rich middle-aged and even the aged. It is true indeed that it symbolizes the noble status as is considered by the mainstream society. Personally, I like famous brands as well, but if it is too expensive a brand, I will not take it into consideration so far as pursuing its products is concerned. Here I refer to fashion garments. But as to other products like electrical products, I prefer to buy famous brands for its excellent quality and reputation. I like to buy famous-brand electrical products in the hope that they have a better and longer lifespan in use. I try to pursue things rationally, not blindly, which is my motto. Good day to you, friend.

Hi,william.Thank you for your response.I think you are a very rational person.I have the same view too,i will choose famous brands when i buy some large items, and will choose non-famous brands when to some little and cheap commodities.LOL...Besides,In my opinion,middle-aged and the aged people are more rationally than the young in the attitude to the famouse brands. Thank you for your wishes, and the same to you !

This is one of the reasons why I'm so glad not to be in highschool anymore. I don't have to worry about what I'm wearing, or what new clothes I have to ask my parents to buy me for the new school year. I never was really into fashion trends or name band clothinhg. I went shopping with my mom for school, and what ever she picked out, if I liked it, that's what I got. The only thing I really ever asked for was a pair of timberland boots. Those were the shoes to wear back in the mid 90's. But other than that, I can't really remember asking for any type of expensive name Brands. I'm 31 now and have a good job, so I have had my share of the expensive name brands. Only because I'm able to afford it. But the thing with me, is that I buy all sorts of clothes. If I see someithing I like that's a Bit expensive, I'll get it. But I also do my bargain shopping. I have name brand shoes as well as payless shoes. Ever since I've been working, I pretty much just buy what I like, and don't pay attention to what the name brand is. it could be a popular $100 dollar coat or a no name $100 coat, if I like it I get it. But I've changed my eays a lot. I've been doing a lot of discount ahoooing when it comes to shoes and clothing. I'll only pay for an expensive item these days if I absolutely can't find a cheaper no name substitute for it. I was hired to do office work at my job, and wanted some casual sweaters to wear. So I went on ebay and purchased 6 sweaters for under $80. Of course some of them were used. But who cares. I washed all of them and it worked out great. I was seeing all these mens catalogs at my job with button up shirts and sweaters selling for $69.99 just for one shirt. That's ridiculous!!! So I went right to ebay and got some good looking no name stuff for cheap. I even got one sweater for $1.

Hi,stinge. Thanks for your very actual response.I agree with you.you are right,if we are young and still in the school ,we don't have the ability to make money ,so we should not expend too much money on those name brands taht we can't afford easily, that's a behaviour of wasting money that our parents earned strenuously. That's a pity and blind behaviour. But ,when we grow up and have made a living by ourselves ,we of course can have some appropriate name brands we like.I'm a student now ,in china ,that means I'm a pure consumer,so I usually by sth not very expensive and I have very little name brand . Great day to you !
