Do identical twins really happen

Hi all I have heard a lot about identical twins bit never witnessed them personally, do they7 really happen? Have you seen such pairs?
And if they really do , what do we mean by saying identical ? In what sorts they are identical, just by face or may be in habits as well ? what is the most identical twins have you seen ?

The term "identical" is a misnomer there is no such thing as identical. Each twin has his or her own separate personality, and many physical differences. They share the same DNA, but they are not Xerox or carbon copies of each other, and that can make all the difference!
