Aging, White Hair, White Lashes, Thinning Hair

It hits around age 50. For females, the thinning hair comes with aging, as does the white or gray hair. But I'm wondering, how soon do lashes or brows usually begin to turn white? I'm noticing more of that in my 5th decade now, and what used to take a thick ponyband for pulling my hair back, now takes one skinny one. What's your take on white and thinning hair or lashes?

At 48, I haven't noticed any white or gray in my lashes or brows, but I do have some on my head. I had never really thought about it before, but I suppose the lashes and brows would turn white too. I have noticed that when I shampoo my hair I am loosing more hairs than I used to, its amazing I'm not bald yet.

I know what you mean caver1. I say the same thing about my tub. It's rather frustrating. Used to be that it took two good-sized ponytails to fit my hair. Now I takes a single one. Twenty more years, what will it take? A weave?

My grandmother's hair was so thin you could see her scalp. She wore a wig as far back as I can remember. But I'm sure we won't be needing wigs.

I'm seeing more scalp than I want to see on the top. I used to have the thickest hair. But not anymore. One day I just realized that I'm no longer young.
