My neighbor (the old crazy one) has a split personality one minute he is fine and talking to you and the next he is trying to chew your head off. My daughter and the twin's were leaving the other night and as they were getting in the car we heard voices coming from up the street, it was dark so we really couldn't see anyone. They knew his voice (David) my neighbor, and she said it was him some where and he is loud and arguing with someone. As she was going down the street in the car she saw him and stopped for a few minutes and talked to him. I guess he blew up at her and the children. Because I was still in the door when he got in his yard and I asked him if he was alright. I really asked because it was dark and it was cold and he was walking (he has a truck). He blew up at me and said "you are just like your daughter, all up in my business," he went on and on talking crazy off the wall things and he was upset and taking it out on me. So I said to him you have a good night and closed my door. I haven't spoke to him since. The old coot have had an argument with his live in partner, they aren't married, and she has left him and he is mad with the world. Now how did your week go?

Wow, Chevee! What a wonderful neighbor to have (NOT!). I'm sorry for him but it sounds like his live-in partner had very valid reasons for leaving him! It's a shame that he has to take it out on everyone else, though. I've known people like that. Heck, I was MARRIED to a person like that! Every problem he ever had, he's always taken out on everyone around him. HE was never to blame, oh, no, Heaven forbid! In your neighbor's warped mind, he's probably angry at every female ever born right now. I knew a guy who said all women were "whor3s"! I felt I HAD to ask him, "Does that even include your mother and your sister?" Boy! Did THAT ever send him off the deep end! It seems that his first wife really WAS nothing but trash and she left him for a man they had both been having an affair with (yeah, the three of them). He was in that same category but never saw it that way. I lived in a neighborhood where a paranoid schizophrenic lived. Supposedly, he was taking thorazine to keep him calm, but he always 'forgot' to take his meds. We'd see him quite often walking down the street, arguing with... well, with nobody! I'm talking screaming, swinging his fists, the works! (I was SO GLAD to move out of THAT neighborhood, I can tell you!) My week, let's see. Well, since Friday the 13th (Friday before last), I've been really stressing. I had my disability hearing and, since then, have been remembering all kinds of things I forgot to say at the hearing. I've been busy writing letters and gathering information to send to our Senator and Congressman who've said they want to help me with this on-going ordeal of mine. I've been trying to find 3 psychiatrists to have my own private 'evaluations' because the judge wants an updated psychiatric report on me and is sending me to one of the shrinks paid for by Social Security. I KNOW I won't get a fair evaluation from HIM! After all, Social Security PAYS him for those evauations; of course he's going to write a report in favor of Social Security! So, I need to get my own, private, evaluations to send to the judge. I can't seem to find 3 who take my insurance, though. I've found one who does, and another who is "out of network" but will accept my insurance, I'll just have to pay a hefty co-pay. The others are telling me they want between $225.00 and $300.00 for an evaluation! AAAAARGH!!! Hopefully, with the Senator's and Congressman's help, I won't need these evaluations. I'm HOPING that the judge will see that I have some big weight on my side and just give up the fight and approve me. I don't know if that will happen, though, because I've become quite pessimistic over the last 7 years of being denied benefits. So, even though my week wasn't as, umm, strange as yours, it's been a week! Let's hope the week ahead is MUCH better for both of us!

Oh it sounds like he is embarassed about his live in partner leaving. So, he is trying to cover up by having an attitude. he thinks as longas he has an attitude noone will take to him about it. He is probably right on that part. Sorry to hear he took it out on you.
