I Think American TV Shows Are Better Than The UK Shows. I Do Love Shamelss & Their 1 Off Dramas, But I think Dirty,Sexy Money & Pushing Daisies Are Good.

I don't really like very many American programmes.
American animated programmes are often fantastic though. I love the Simpsons, Futurama, South Park and Family Guy.
but for general programmes, the only American ones I can think of that I have ever enjoyed are Pushing Daisies (as you mentioned it), Malcolm in the Middle and My Name is Earl.
in the UK, we have The Office (sorry, the American version just doesn't compare to it), Shameless, Being Human, Blackadder, The Young Ones, Absolutely Fabulous, Bottom, as well as lots of really amazing documentaries and more informative shows.
on the whole, it's rare for me to like American Programmes, and rarer still for them not to be an animated one.

I loved Paul Abott's Shameless and State of Play, as well as the British Office.
Some American shows are terrible and over dramatized.
Although, I do love Scrubs, The Office, House, and Friends.
American television these days just seem to be getting worse and full of reality crap.
