Am I the only one who thinks this site would be a whole lot easier to navigate if there was some kind of internal search engine? There seem to be thousands of interest groups, and I keep seeing the same ones repeated. I'm sure a lot of the time people get frustrated trying to link in to a group on their subject, so they start a new one. If I click on an interest eg pets (for house rabbits, which I keep) it has pages on pages of links - I always give up and, if I haven't found my interest on, say, page 25 I make a new one. Going back to the 'pets' section: I found totally weird inclusions such as unicorns, dragons and pumas! I don't know about you guys, but I for one wouldn't want a pet puma climbing up the curtains! It wouldn't be so bad if the subjects were in alphabetical order, but they're not. So, how do these listings work? Is it that those with the highest rankings go to the top of the list in each category, so I should just join the groups that come up first, or should I keep trawling through all those extra pages in case I hit jackpot? Too many people here are moaning about not getting their 'payouts' but it isn't surprising. I'm not in a minority group by any means, but it seems the chances of ANY of my start-up threads getting read are practically zero - there are just so many things stacked against me. I might have started a thread on exactly what someone else was thinking about e.g. company logos but if, say, I led off on the small business page and they're looking on the 'extra money making' threads our paths will never cross. A simple internal search engine would solve all this - typing 'company logos' would at least put us both on a similar path, even if we do still end up in different places! Surely I'm not alone in thinking payouts would be a whole lot better if the site was 'tidied up' a bit? I didn't join for the cash, by the way, but to meet people with the same interests as myself - and it's still frustrating!
