Are Get Paid To "jobs" viable outside of the US?

Alright, so I'm new here. Hi:) But, I've got a serious question that I've been trying to get answered for a little while now... and it's in the title. I'm currently poorer than I've been in a long time, and I need to make some extra cash, minimal effort. Don't call me lazy, that's just how it has to be at the moment. So, I hit the internet, and I see all these "Get Paid To Do X, Y, or Z" websites. Mainly about surveys, testing trial offers (and cancelling!), referrals, playing games, posting to forums, lo and behold, all while viewing ads. Hundreds of people swear by them, but all with seemingly zealous passion that makes it all a bit suspect. And then, while I'm a US citizen, because I'm living abroad at the moment (a couple of years being poor around different parts of Europe), and my permanent residence is currently in Australia... I don't actually qualify to be paid by most of these sites. Problem!Don't get me wrong, I'm not complaining. If I'm not the target market, then I'm just not. What I really need to know is (ah, he finally gets to the point)... Are these "GPT" jobs actually workable if you're outside the US? And IF they are, which ones are workable, how do I find them, and how do I work them? I figure some other people who want to take advantage of these systems, but live outside of the US, might want to know the answer to this too :) I'm tired of being tricked into signing on with people, who won't pay me based on where I live :) (My general understanding is that myLot*will*, but one or two more places would be good!)

The GPT program I work with accepts members from outside the US. I wrote more about it on my blog http://happy-wahm.blogspot.com/

Sure, they accept members from out of the US, but do they then have offers for those members? Do they even pay them? I keep running across places that I "qualify" for, but don't qualify for surveys/offers/payment.
