Well for depression, medicines are not solution. Do Meditation, try breathing exercise, it will help you balance and handle depression.

I had been suffering from depression for a while which was cause by a situation that had happened. Trying to keep a brief as possible. I had a good friend who I respected so much. He was like my big brother and we had got on so well. We could talk about the most sensitive subjects without being shy about it. He met a woman. I wanted to meet her so we started talking. Things happened. She told him a story different to mine. The impression that I was given was that she told him that I was after him for more than just friendship. What I was told from him really upset me so I ended the friendship through the hurt I was feeling. My health was suffering greatly. Along with depression from losing my best friend, I had suffered from migraines, being sick, malnutrition which boils followed. I decided, enough was enough. So I ended up contacting the old friend. I asked questions that I wanted answers to. I got answers then I told him my side of what happened knowing that he may not believe me and he doesn't. I really now feel better for it. For me, it was a case of dealing with the situation. I know that I couldn't resolve the problem but I did deal with it and I am feeling better. I am sadden that the quality of the friendship was damaged badly. But I can walk away with ease if I have to. I just hope that the guy's woman does not make a mistake and he finds out that I was speaking the truth. I still don't want to see this guy hurt. Even though he is now more like an aquaintance, he still means alot to me and I don't want him see him hurt.

depression - crying a river of tears
You may need to be on medication but there are other things you can do to help.. talking with friends, doing things that make yourself feel good, eating right, getting enough sleep, changing negative thoughts to positive thoughts.. Do some research on it and talk to a doctor if it is a long time thing!
