Do you? Or do you think it's too personal to do that? How do you determine which scent he/ she would like?

I sometimes do this, I tend to get people a scent that they have mentioned that they like or a one that I know they use regularly but it running out. For Christmas I bought my boyfriend the Emperor Armani one because he always wears it and it was running out and I bought my friend some Snowflake scented stuff from Lush, because she always comments on how she likes the smell.

Not yet. As I don't wear perfume or cologne, so I have no more idea about it. So I don't want to buy it as a gift for my friends because I am not familiar with it. I love China

Hello wondericequeen, As perfume is my best friend so I have no worries to give it as a gift to others. I don't really think what suits the person but always buy something that I like. I just hope that the person who receives the gift will like it.

I have purchased After Bath Splashes or other types of light fragrances for people I know pretty well. I tend to avoid the stronger fragrances though, just in case someone would not like them. I tend to shop at Bath and Body Works for those types of gifts as you can't hardly find a woman that doesn't like their products.

I am not really that fond of perfumes... but i got some as gifts... but i have never given a gift like that to anybody a i know... since i know i am not good at choosing the right scent for the right person... and everytime i am given a perfume or cologne... it will just sit in the closet for a long time...

i only purchase perfume or cologne for people i know well. if i know them well enough to know which scent they really like, and know that they would like perfume as a gift, i would give them perfume as a gift. to summarize, i rarely give perfume as a gift. lol
