Hi irishe, I’m from a different country. It's nice to learn from you that the people in your place like pasta when having a party. I think due to the different weather, culture of eating and liking as well, so quite normal that the common foods served on a party here are very much different from those in your place. Yeah people living in the tropical country here are very fond of eating hot and spicy food. So that’s why some of the common foods are a must to be served on the party here are mostly hot and spicy. The most popular one is curry chicken. We like to eat this yummy dish together with plain rice or fried noodles. The noodles here are processed from rice and they are long and very much thin. The other ones are the hot and spicy fried chicken and curry puff as well. Happy posting and take care.

You are most welcome irishe. I’m from Malaysia, a country in the southern part of Asia. It is located in the south of Thailand and in the north of Singapore. Yeah, we stir fry the white colored long and thin noodle with shrimps, meat, Chinese flowering cabbage or bean sprouts added to it. It is really delicious to eat with curry chicken. Take care and have a great day.

During parties, the most common food that is being served on the table is the roasted pig (lechong baboy in our our own language). This is accompanied with pastas (spaghetti, noodles or what we call "pansit"). It's also very common to have roasted chicken, and for desserts, we have mango floats or ice box cakes, maybe because they are easy to prepare and not time-consuming.
