Do any of you have as much problem as I do using new sites? If I want to feel totally stupid all I have to do is sign up for a new site. In the end they all work about the same but it sure is complicated to start.

hello savypat i know what that you mean when that you say that you feel totally stupid when that you sign up for any kind of a new website like that. lol don't feel bad, i feel the same way. when that i do sign up for a new website like that, it might take me forever to figure out about the website that i had justed signed up for. but that is ok as well, i have nothing but time on my side when it comes to figuring out how to get around a new website thou. when i first signed up with Mylot's website the first time around, i didn't have a clue as to what that i was doing. lol duh. it just didn't register with me whatsoever. lol but i can say, that i do not feel stupid at all around here at Mylot anymore. lol take care and have a beautiful evening.

Mylot now seems so simple but it took me 2 months to even start to get it. Thanks

All the time. When I sign up for a new site it can take me a few days to get to grips with. Sometimes I have found some sites that are too complicated to use that I don't bother with them at all.

There was a time when I thought they were so complicated for the sake of security. No way! Now I think those who are supposedly experts think the rest of us are not worth the time it takes to make sites user-friendly. I've been on a couple of sites for a month or so that I still can't figure out. They want users to refer others, but I can't do that in good conscience when it's too difficulty...

I know what you mean I am not about to refer anyone to something I can't figure out.

I'm always confused when I use a new site. That's probably why I don't belong to too many of them.

It always takes a while to get familiar with something new. The best sites have forums and helpful users who will be patient with newbie's questions. There is an amazing amount of goodwill around the net. It often cheers me up when I find it.

Amen to that!! I thought it was just cause I was getting too old to comprehend as quickly as I used to. Glad to know it's not just me. I was starting to feel really left out...
