Heath Ledger for Best Supporting Actor for his role as 'The Joker'

Heath Ledger is one heck of an actor. I first saw him the movie by Mel Gibson entitle the "The Patriot". I also his first lead role in "A knight's tale" (I believe it was his first lead role). But I think the best performance that he did was portraying the role of "The Joker" in the Batman movie series "The Dark Knight". He really did great and he really portrayed what the real Joker. Too bad, he wasn't able to receive the awards and I think he's a great actor and can still make outstanding performance like he did in the "The Dark Knight". He really do deserve the award or even should be the Best Actor not only the Supporting Actor for this performance. Anyway that's just my opinion.
