My laptop mouse is annoying me very much , few days. If we click the button on some links or some buttons on the websites, two tabs or windows are getting opened. Even if we take utmost care while clicking its happening like this. Also the cursor of the pointer some time start vibrating on the screen slightly. Some time it is not at responding. This problem will start after, one or two hour usage of the system. What could be the problem. Please suggest some possible solution to rectify this.

Are you using the ancient mouse (the one with the rollers) or the infra-red ones? If you are using the ancient mouse, then it could be that the concave at which the ball of the mouse is resting on had accumulated too much dust. A simple cleansing of the mouse should do the trick! However, if you are using the infra-red mouse, you should take care and try to use the mouse on a reflective, white surface. I was having the same problem with my mouse when I used the mousepad that came together with the mouse! However, upon throwing the mousepad away, and changing the surface to a rough, white surface (think white piece of paper!), the problem is automatically solved! Lol. Mouse using those infra-red lights will need a good reflective surface as the movement of the cursor is dependent on how well the lights of the mouse reflects on the surface that it is on. If the surface is uneven, then the lights reflects unevenly and eventually, we have a cursor on screen that moves erratically. So, we should always take note of the surface. What may be a good mousepad for one mouse might not be a good one for another as different mouse works differently. However, if after doing all of these, nothing changes, then it would be high time that you change your mouse! How long have you been using this mouse? Electronic products will have to be changed every now and then as they don't and never last long! I wish you all the best and if all fails, buy yourself a cheap, new mouse! Happy mylotting!
