MySpace, Facebook or Friendster?

So I got forced to join community sites. I am a member all of it. The longest community site that I have stayed is Friendster. It has been 6 years if I'm not mistaken. Friendster is the most that I use because I have my real friends in person. So with Facebook, but I rarely open the site. MySpace, I have tons of people on my friend's list. I don't think I'll join other community sites, these three are just hard to keep things on track. But I'll sure keeping them. So what's your best community you think you have joined so far? And like did you find your long lost friends?

I joined Friendster 2 years ago, but now I'm mostly active on Facebook, as it has a neater interface with lots of useful application. I found my classmates on Facebook, and we shared old photographs that brought back good memories. Also we can chat over facebook and tag one another in photos.

I dont use all of them. Last 2 years I use Friendster, but I choose to close my account. I prefer to use wordpress or make my own website.

I have lots of invite for community sites too, but I cannot accommodate them all. I am ever loyal to my Friendster Account, and it's been three years now since I joined. It's like my treasure box, because I uploaded most of our photos there.. :)

I am not much into social networking. Of the three sites you have mentioned, I have account only in Facebook. I joined that site only because a few friends invited me to do so. But when I was in there, I found through linking with friends that many people I know in life are also onboard. I don't doubt that such sites are useful for connecting people, especially those whom you have no contact with. I might just go on Friendster one day.

I just joined facebook because my daughter asked me to. My kids and some of my family members are on there. I used to have myspace which I liked better. But, I don't do much on facebook right now. I don't know what the big deal is about it. Maybe I'm just not getting it.

Each one of these socializing websites have their own pros and cons. You just have to use it to their fullest. I have all of these, too.

i prefer my friendster and facebook account, i rarely open my myspace and multiply account..i have friendster account years back and i found a lot of my old friends, classmates in friendster..but recently i signed an account in facebook because some of my closest friends and relatives shifted there and i find it more useful and convenient because we can chat over there at the same time:)

i have friendster and facebook but i rarely update them, especially facebook. i just recently joined facebook and i do not have the time yet to update it, invite friends, etc. but my boss mentioned in a meeting that he has facebook and that he has other CEO friends there too. he asked who among us has facebook. i did not answer to avoid having to add him haha. he said even if they are old, they also use facebook. i have a friend who uses friendster to search for old schoolmates and she was able to find a lot =)

I am a member of MySpace and Facebook, but I spend more time on Facebook. A lot of my family members are on Facebook, so I am able to keep in touch with them through their pages, and through mine. I should log back into MySpace and see what is going on on there. An interesting question.

I think facebook is the best social networking site. Facebook has a team that forward-thinking and concerned about the value of the site both for their client and users. For me, Facebook are pretty easy to use and doesn't have gazillion cookies that MySpace forces on you.

Myspace was fun because you could be more creative, more web design stuff. I probably am on FaceBook more than any other these days as it seems that is where all my friends are, well with 175m members it is just a lot of people. I try to limit my time to a couple of stops in a day. I do like the whole six degrees of seperation angle and I do get it. I find that people try to friend others for the false sense of actually having friends. Nobody wants to be the guy with only 3 friends on FaceBook, but I question if any of these relationships are real as people start crawling out of the woodword of your past, to be you friend again even though you have not seen them in years.

I "used" to love friendster but the site itself is limited. I'm more of the facebook person since I've gotten in touch with my old friends (way back in elem) and new ones. Besides, facebook also allows me to play with my friends e.g. fashion wars and etc. Whereas in myspace, its more of a site where i could get in touch with my music icons or artists from different countries.
