Here is something we can do: Bobby Jindal -- will your governor do this too?

It is clear how the Democrats try to push facts aside, or sweep them under the rug. Most politicians don't seem to bother to read this bill. I don't think I have much hope for our Democrat NC Governor to take a stand. But if we can all flood our Governors' offices with calls and emails, urging them to refuse the money that has strings attached, such as requirements to permanently change the state's programs, commit to mandatory hiring practices (affirmative action circa 2009), etc. Try to spread the word -- President is going "over" the Governors, directly to some of the Mayors -- we gotta let the governors and mayors know how we feel!!!!!! The governors is a real chance to stop at least some of this madness!! Listen to him carefully, please. http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/21134540/vp/29330644#29330644

Jindal is right, and the idiot doing the interview hasn't got a clue as to what made this country great. He, and others in the press like him, are the reason the 0bamunist got elected in the first place. they are also the reason the Americans aren't getting the truth about the economy and what caused the problems in the first place. That Senator or whatever she was that says Jindal is wrong has failed to do the job that she was elected to do by voted for a bill that she didn't read. Yet she has the audacity to claim Jindal is wrong after he and his staff took the time to read and review the relevant portions that they are taking issue with. For the 0bamunist to directly talk to the Mayors and Governors is to overstep his authority... that is for the Senators and Representatives to do. Central government is dictatorship, which is what the 0bamunist and the liberals are trying to install.

I think that it is great that all of these republican govenors are passing up all of this money. This just means more money for the rest of us who were smart enough to elect a democrate. Maybe next time your state will wise up, mine did.

You're right, Debater, I know my state could use some extra and my governor is smart enough to take it! Annie

I agree it would be great if they refused the money. But I think the big issue for a lot if Governors is, we will all have to pay this money back whether our State collected or not. So, in the best interest of said state, they should take the money. I know our esteemed Governor Ritter here in Colorado already has it spent!
