Hi... I think prepaid connection is better for everyone. Because, if we have a prepaid connection we can limit our calls and budget. Unless it is very urgent we dont need to call. But if it is a postpaid connection we will call unnecessarily also as we dont need to bother that balance would become nil. So if it we have a prepaid connection we will check whether the balance is sufficient or not.

Personally, I have post-paid plan & I couldn't afford to get on a pre-paid plans... I have unlimited everything so I can use my phone as much as I want & my bill won't go any higher... I have blackberry pearl & I'm paying $116/month... I have unlimited voice calling plan for $99.99 & unlimited blackberry data plan for $19.99 in addition... $99.99 unlimited voice plan also includes unlimited messagings... From my work place, I get 15% discount on my bill... So after everything being said & done, with tax & fees, entire bill comes out to be $115.65/month... And it's physically impossible for me to go over anything, since everything is unlimited... I go through around 2,500 - 3,000 minutes per month... I don't even keep track of how many messages & emails I do over the phone... Most of them are work related...

For me, as a student, is prepaid. It is easier for me to control my money. Plus, in my country the service provider offers lots of benefits and lower rates for prepaid.

I had a post paid account back then when the cellphone was still new. But when the prepaid became the "in" thing, I shifted to prepaid and it's much easier to maintain. I have no hassle of going to the telecommunications company to pay for my monthly dues. I just need to go to a store nearby and buy a load. It's pretty convenient for me using a prepaid sim.

My recommend would be prepaid, even for individual businessmen.
Only for big corporates, post paid may be better for they offer some group calls free.
