Would You Give The Money Back.

no, i wouldnt, somewhere, someone agreed to pay that ammount and if they want it back its to late. thats thier money and no one elses to live off till they can find even the smallest job.

The only way i would give the money back is if they were giving me my job back. Otherwise, I'd tell them I am sure that Bill Gates can afford the error

Heck no, I would not give it back.. Especially after being laid off.. They should have been more careful when giving the severance pay.. That was their mistake and they should stand behind it.. Once you give your word or give someone something, it is very bad taste to ask for it back..

Hey chevee! I don't think that I would be able to give the money back! First of all it is their fault that they overpaid and it is their fault that they laid off the workers! So since all of it was their fault how can they ask for the money back? What if the people had already used the money to pay their bills? I don't think that is fair to ask for them to give back the money!

Sorry but there is no way I would return it after they laid me off and give me the severance pay. Maybe that is one reason they are having to lay people off, they have a rotten bookkeeping dept. who is draining them dry.
