no, i wouldnt, somewhere, someone agreed to pay that ammount and if they want it back its to late. thats thier money and no one elses to live off till they can find even the smallest job.

Heck no, I would not give it back.. Especially after being laid off.. They should have been more careful when giving the severance pay.. That was their mistake and they should stand behind it.. Once you give your word or give someone something, it is very bad taste to ask for it back..

Hi Chevee,
Well, it tough cookies, nope I won't give the money back, they made the mistakes so why should any of the people that got laid off pay them back, I wouldn't. Hugs.

Hey chevee! I don't think that I would be able to give the money back!
First of all it is their fault that they overpaid and it is their fault
that they laid off the workers! So since all of it was their fault how
can they ask for the money back? What if the people had already used
the money to pay their bills? I don't think that is fair to ask for
them to give back the money!
