In my opinion, some classical songs and movies had better store in DVD. Coz the files on Hard Disk will be updated once at a time. And sometimes, the popular ones will be pick out to review them. That is the reason to keep them on Hard Disk. To sum up, we need to sort them up.

Well if you store them on a DVD, you need also to label it and keep a list of albums or movie titles in it, so that in future you may look for them easier.

I think an external hard disk will be better we can store our files very fast.Hard disks don't get damaged easily like dvds.DVD is also good but we can use if for some extra space. If the external hard disk is full we can buy a new one and store files again.I make use of my pen drive to store important and extra files.

I prefer hard disk since I'm an IT guy and it's actually easier to carry those movie and song files around in a hard disk than say, a big pile of discs. The only issue is to find a PC. It's actually easier to get a DVD player than a computer.

I prefer to store my data on hard disk. Hard disk are easy to access. They are also easy to find because it is connected to your computer while DVDs can be put to place and then nowhere to be found. Moreover, DVDs need to be named in order to be identified while hard disk don't. Hard disk now can be of two types. Internal and external. External hard disks have a greater capacity compare to DVDs so if you prefer to carry your data with you, external hard disk is a lot better. Internal hard disk can also be converted to be an external one. Just use an HDD enclosure with an appropriate size. YOu should also consider the capability of the enclosure to run the HDD because some enclosure are limited only 160gb HDD while others can support even 500gb of data spaces.

I prefer a hard disk as my storage media since it has a quick performance. It is easy and convenient for us to arrange the files. Moreover, they are stable and have a larger capacity.

If I had the extra money, I'd go for Hard Disk since it's more compact and it's a lot easier to search for stuff as opposed to tons of DVDs which take up a lot of space.

I'll go for HD. I have few DVD's burned around 2006 and 2007, and they were stored inside a anti-humidity bag and kept inside a cabinet, never been exposed to direct sunlight, and has been used twice only. I checked them yesterday and some of them are already unreadable.

I prefer dvd over harddisk. This is because, at sometimes if the harddisk gets crashed we cant get the data that is on harddisk. So if we backup them on DVDs we can use them at any time. We can see them using Dvd Players also. And sometimes if we feel that DVD is getting corrupted or damaged we can create another backup of that Dvd. This is very much helpful. Happy myLotting...
