I was just wondering what people thought of Euthanasia. Anybody where this subject hits close to home? Do you consider this to be murder? Why or why not? What exactly do you consider to be Euthanasia? I'm interested to see what people think on both sides.

I feel that euthanasia is a dignified way for someone to die. Unfortunately, a lot of people disagree about things such as that. I'm not saying it wouldn't be a hard thing to be a part of but I believe its probably the most unselfish way for someone who is deathly sick to go. It's really a sticky subject because you'll have people with valid arguments on both sides but I really think if a person is suffering why not let them go instead of lingering on. What I consider euthanasia is when a person is given lethal dose where they fall asleep and die peacefully in the comfort of their own home surrounded by family.

I can't stand seeing anything in such pain. To those who disagree with it, I can't understand their logical reasoning to why it'd be better for these individuals to suffer so much pain and their families.
