I finally finished The Sense of Light, after how many years? Four? Five? I've attached a very bad pic of it... when I wash it and get it all stretched and framed, I'll get a much better picture of it.

There isn't actually a picture attached to it, I don't know if someone will respond before me or not so I figured I would say it. If you've already attached it then sorry, lol. I am not one for cross stitching, I don't think I've ever actually tried it to be honest, I've fiddled with it but not really tried it, and I think that it looks like an interesting hobby to say the least.

The Sense of Light - finished cross-stitch approx. 20"x17"
Thanks for your prompt reply. As soon as I added the tags, it posted, and I realized I hadn't uploaded the image yet.

No problem I try to help when I see someone has forgotten to add the image, which is so easy to do, lol! That is very beautiful, where do you get these patterns? Off the web?

This particular one, I won from Scarlet Quince. They sell only charts of paintings. This one was painted by Annie Louise Swynnerton in 1895.

Wow that is beautiful. How big is it? I cross stitch a lot but I have never finished a large project. I need to get around to finishing a couple that I have started, but I seem to get bored with them too quickly. I have done lots of small things like bookmarks and the like. I love cross stitching it is so soothing.

Very nice. That encourages me to finish a big project myself.

Congrats on finishing a project. As a cross stitcher myself, I know how many projects we can start and not finish.
